Carvana is hiring an Auto Upholstery Repair Technician to perform interior and glass repairs on vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive repair.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive interior repair and/or glass repair experience, demonstrating your expertise in the field. Your skills include repairing damaged cloth, leather, plastic, and vinyl upholstery, as well as center consoles, seats, dashboards, and headliners. You are adept at color matching and dying cloth and fabric, ensuring that repairs are seamless and visually appealing. Additionally, you possess the ability to repair various types of glass damage, including stars, bullseyes, combination breaks, cracks, and scratches in windows and windshields.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable using state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality ensure that every repair meets the highest standards. You are a team player who values collaboration and communication with your colleagues to deliver exceptional service to customers.
What you'll do
As a Mid-Level Interior Repair/Glass Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing a variety of repairs on automotive interiors and glass. You will work on repairing damaged upholstery, including cloth, leather, and vinyl, ensuring that all repairs are completed to a high standard. Your role will also involve repairing glass damage, such as cracks and scratches, to maintain the safety and integrity of the vehicles.
You will utilize your skills in color matching and fabric dying to ensure that all repairs are visually consistent with the original materials. In addition to your technical skills, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company policies. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training programs to further develop your skills and advance your career within the company.
