What you'll do

As a Logistics Manager at Carvana, you will oversee day-to-day transportation operations at the assigned location, ensuring that all logistics activities are executed efficiently. You will participate in the development of site-specific goals and objectives, working closely with other site leaders to ensure alignment and effective execution. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and evaluating daily route schedules, addressing any issues or deficiencies in coordination with Logistics Operations Planning and Scheduling.

You will provide mentoring and accountability to your direct reports, focusing on their professional development through coaching and training. You will ensure that work areas meet or exceed applicable workplace safety standards, conducting GEMBA walks to maintain yard cleanliness and safety. Effective communication with internal teams will be crucial as you coordinate and monitor the movement of inventory on the ground through the warehouse workflow. You will evaluate and distribute work and assigned shifts to meet business needs, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
