What you'll do
As the Reconditioning Manager at Carvana, you will oversee the daily operations of the Inspection Center, ensuring that all vehicles undergo a thorough reconditioning process. You will lead a team of at least five leads and up to 70 front-line associates, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include setting production goals, maintaining quality standards, and managing costs effectively. You will also be responsible for implementing best practices in lean manufacturing to optimize workflow and enhance team performance.
You will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure that the reconditioning process aligns with Carvana's mission of delivering high-quality vehicles to customers. Your role will involve regular assessments of team performance and operational efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. You will be a key player in maintaining a positive work environment, encouraging team engagement, and driving operational excellence.
