Who you are
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, showcasing your expertise in handling various vehicle makes and models. Your background includes extensive repairs and heavy engine work, demonstrating your ability to tackle complex automotive issues. You are skilled in advanced vehicle diagnostics, allowing you to identify and resolve problems efficiently. Your experience also encompasses repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues, ensuring that you can address a wide range of automotive challenges. You are familiar with installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems, which is essential for maintaining modern vehicles. You possess a valid driverβs license and can communicate effectively in English, both of which are crucial for this role.
Desirable
While not mandatory, having ASE certifications would be a valuable asset, as it reflects your commitment to professional development in the automotive field. Additionally, familiarity with electric and hybrid vehicles is a plus, given the increasing prevalence of these technologies in the automotive industry.
What you'll do
As a Master Automotive Mechanic at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting thorough inspections to identify mechanical issues and executing repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and operational. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, allowing you to work efficiently and effectively. You will also be expected to collaborate with other technicians and team members to share knowledge and best practices, fostering a supportive work environment. Your role will involve staying updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques, ensuring that you can provide the best service possible to our customers. You will also have the opportunity to mentor entry-level technicians, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers within the company.
