You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, showcasing your expertise in performing extensive repairs and heavy engine work. Your background includes advanced vehicle diagnostics, allowing you to tackle complex automotive issues effectively. You are skilled in repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues and have experience with installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems. Your knowledge extends to working on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, demonstrating your versatility in the automotive field.
You thrive in a high-tech environment, utilizing state-of-the-art tools in one of Carvana's Inspection Centers. Your commitment to quality and efficiency is evident in your work, and you take pride in delivering exceptional service to customers. You are a team player who values collaboration and continuous learning, and you are eager to grow your skills alongside the company.
Desirable
While not required, any additional certifications such as ASE would be a plus, as well as familiarity with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Your ability to adapt to new tools and processes will be beneficial in this fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
As a Master Automotive Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and heavy engine work on a variety of vehicles. You will conduct advanced vehicle diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Your role will involve repairing advanced vehicle electrical systems, ensuring that all repairs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
You will also be tasked with installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems, contributing to the overall functionality and efficiency of the vehicles you work on. Your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing and repairing issues across all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, which are becoming increasingly prevalent in the automotive market.
In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to mentor entry-level technicians, sharing your knowledge and helping them develop their skills. You will work closely with your team to ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely manner, maintaining Carvana's reputation for excellence in customer service.
