Your experience may include working in automotive finance, but you are also well-versed in broader consumer finance practices. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including compliance, product, and operations.
You are detail-oriented and proactive in identifying potential legal issues before they arise β your analytical skills allow you to navigate complex regulatory landscapes with ease. What you'll do
In this role, you will provide legal support for Carvanaβs automotive consumer finance and payments activities β you will work closely with the Senior Counsel, Consumer Finance, and collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for reviewing and drafting legal documents related to consumer finance transactions, ensuring that all processes align with regulatory requirements.
You will also engage in risk assessment and mitigation strategies, advising on legal implications of new business initiatives and technology-driven financial services. Your role will involve staying updated on changes in consumer finance laws and regulations, and you will be expected to communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders within the organization.
