You have at least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. You are skilled in performing light bodywork tasks such as prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles, and you have a keen eye for detail that ensures high-quality repairs. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are willing to work mandatory overtime when needed to meet business demands.
You understand the importance of using state-of-the-art tools and techniques in your work, and you are excited about the opportunity to grow your skills through training programs offered by Carvana. You are adaptable and ready to take on various tasks, including removing and installing bumpers, minor plastic welding, and small area bodywork, including Bondo repair.
What you'll do
As an Auto Body Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing light bodywork on vehicles to ensure they meet the company's high standards. This includes prepping vehicles for paint, sanding surfaces to create a smooth finish, and buffing to achieve a polished look. You will also be involved in removing and installing bumpers, conducting minor plastic welding, and executing small area bodywork repairs. Your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that every vehicle is repaired to perfection before it reaches the customer.
You will work in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing advanced tools and equipment to carry out your tasks efficiently. Collaboration with your team will be essential, as you will need to communicate effectively to ensure that all repairs are completed on time and to the satisfaction of customers. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training programs that will help you advance your skills and career within the company.
