Who you are

You have a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your ability to perform light to medium automotive repairs effectively. Your expertise includes working on various vehicle systems such as radiators, timing belts, alignments, and suspension systems. You are comfortable completing repairs for wheel bearings and axles, as well as carrying out vehicle climate control repair and replacement for ACs and heater cores. You take pride in your work and are committed to delivering high-quality repairs that ensure customer satisfaction.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers. You appreciate the importance of teamwork and collaboration, and you are always willing to lend a hand to your colleagues when needed. Your strong communication skills allow you to effectively interact with both team members and customers, ensuring a smooth workflow and positive experience for everyone involved.

Desirable

While not required, any additional certifications such as ASE would be a plus, showcasing your commitment to professional development in the automotive field. Familiarity with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques will also set you apart as a candidate who is ready to tackle the challenges of modern vehicle maintenance.

What you'll do

As a Mid-Level Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive repairs on our vehicles. Your day-to-day tasks will include diagnosing issues, completing repairs on radiators, timing belts, alignments, and suspension systems, and ensuring that all work meets Carvana's high standards. You will also be tasked with repairing wheel bearings and axles, as well as handling vehicle climate control repairs, including AC and heater core replacements.

You will work closely with your team to maintain a safe and efficient work environment, utilizing the latest tools and technologies to complete your tasks. Your role will involve not only technical skills but also a commitment to customer service, as you will be interacting with customers to explain repairs and answer any questions they may have.
