Who you are
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience — your expertise allows you to perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding and metal pulling. You are skilled in roof and rocker panel repair, and you have experience with large area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. Your ability to train other autobody technicians showcases your leadership skills and commitment to team development.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand the importance of delivering exceptional customer experiences. You are a team player who is willing to work mandatory overtime based on business needs, ensuring that vehicles are delivered on time. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality make you an invaluable asset to the team.
What you'll do
As a Senior Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on various vehicles, ensuring that all repairs meet the highest standards of quality. You will train and mentor other autobody technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your work will involve heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and shrinking, as well as roof and rocker panel repairs.
You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team. Your role will also involve collaborating with other departments to ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely manner, maintaining Carvana's commitment to customer satisfaction. You will be expected to uphold the company's values and contribute to a positive work environment.
