Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your skills include heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and stud welding, making you a valuable asset to our team. You are also capable of performing roof and rocker panel repairs, as well as large area bodywork, including Bondo repair. Your experience allows you to train and mentor other autobody technicians, fostering a collaborative environment.

You thrive in a fast-paced setting and are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. You understand the importance of teamwork and are willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary to meet business needs. Your attention to detail and dedication to quality ensure that every vehicle you work on meets the highest standards.

What you'll do

As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on multiple panels of vehicles. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in our high-tech Inspection Centers to ensure that every vehicle is repaired to perfection. Your role will also involve training and mentoring other technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.

You will be expected to collaborate closely with your team to deliver vehicles on time, ensuring that we meet our commitment to our customers. Your ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances will be crucial in this role. You will also participate in ongoing training programs to enhance your skills and stay updated with the latest industry practices.
