You bring at least 5 years of experience in business intelligence or strategic finance roles — you've developed scalable reporting infrastructures and owned key performance metrics like ARR and bookings reporting. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify trends and opportunities that others might overlook, and you thrive in environments where data-driven decision-making is paramount.

You are comfortable working across North American time zones and are willing to travel to Toronto periodically — your flexibility and adaptability make you an ideal candidate for this remote role. You understand the importance of collaboration and communication in a distributed team, and you excel at building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

What you'll do

As the Director of Business Intelligence & Strategic Finance, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping how Caseware measures and communicates its commercial performance. You will own the ARR and bookings reporting processes, ensuring that the company has accurate and timely data to inform strategic decisions. Your expertise in building scalable reporting infrastructure will be essential as you work to enhance the company's data capabilities.

You will collaborate closely with the C-suite and sales leadership to provide insights that drive business growth — your ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations will be key to influencing decision-making at the highest levels. You will lead initiatives to improve data quality and reporting efficiency, ensuring that stakeholders have access to the information they need to succeed.

In this role, you will also mentor and develop a team of analysts, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. You will encourage your team to explore innovative approaches to data analysis and reporting, empowering them to contribute to the company's strategic goals.
