Who you are
You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in developing and scaling microservices. You understand the intricacies of handling high-volume requests and have a strong grasp of Ruby as your primary programming language. Your experience includes implementing Infrastructure as Code principles and utilizing Continuous Delivery practices to ensure smooth deployments.
You are comfortable with A/B testing methodologies and understand the importance of data-driven decision-making in product development. You thrive in collaborative environments, valuing peer reviews and feedback as essential components of your work process. Your ability to learn from mistakes and iterate quickly is a key part of your engineering philosophy.
What you'll do
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Catawiki, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our microservices architecture, ensuring that it can handle the high volume of requests our platform receives daily. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver product innovations that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to uphold quality standards.
