You possess a deep understanding of the threat landscape and are skilled in developing advanced threat detection mechanisms — your analytical skills enable you to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights that improve security measures. You are familiar with continuous improvement processes and can fine-tune detection systems to adapt to emerging threats.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to maximize the effectiveness of security programs — your communication skills allow you to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. You are committed to fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior Threat Detection Engineer at Celonis, you will support, maintain, and expand the Threat Detection infrastructure — your role will involve recommending improvements to existing environments to enhance resilience and effectiveness. You will build and maintain production-quality dashboards that provide visibility into the security posture across the organization.

You will develop advanced threat detection mechanisms using complex data analytics — your work will involve identifying and raising alerts for adversarial or high-risk behaviors, ensuring that the organization can respond swiftly to potential threats. Continuous improvement will be a key focus, as you fine-tune detection systems to adapt to new and emerging cyber threats.

You will collaborate closely with other teams within the Celonis Security program to maximize the Threat Detection capability — your insights will help shape security strategies and initiatives that protect the organization from evolving threats. You will also monitor security incidents and provide timely responses to ensure the integrity of the organization's data and systems.
