You have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a strong focus on designing and implementing security solutions for enterprise systems. Your expertise includes working with tools like ZScaler and Cloudflare, and you have a deep understanding of zero trust policies and their application in real-world scenarios. You are well-versed in security best practices and compliance requirements, ensuring that systems and data are protected against evolving cyber threats.

You possess strong analytical skills and can assess risks effectively, allowing you to implement robust security measures that align with business objectives. Your collaborative nature enables you to work closely with IT, compliance, and various business units to foster a culture of security awareness and best practices across the organization. You are proactive in monitoring security postures and adapting strategies to counteract potential threats.

Desirable

Experience with incident response and threat hunting is a plus, as is familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST or ISO 27001. Certifications such as CISSP or CISM would further demonstrate your commitment to the field and enhance your qualifications.

What you'll do

As a Senior Enterprise Security Engineer at Celonis, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure that safeguards our enterprise systems and data. You will lead initiatives to develop and enforce security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your role will involve conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security gaps and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and respond effectively to security incidents. This includes designing and implementing enterprise-level security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection mechanisms. You will also be tasked with monitoring the security landscape, adapting to new threats, and continuously improving our security posture.

Your hands-on approach will allow you to stay engaged with the latest security technologies and trends, ensuring that Celonis remains at the forefront of security innovation.
