Desirable

Experience with data visualization tools and a strong understanding of the metrics used in trading would be a plus. Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in data engineering, such as Python or SQL, is also desirable. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can enhance the data engineering processes at CTC.

What you'll do

As a Data Engineer at Chicago Trading Co, you will be responsible for the quality, reliability, and overall health of our data pipelines. You will work closely with Data Scientists, Traders, and Quantitative Researchers to understand their needs and how they utilize our final data products. Your role will involve detecting source data quality issues that lead to incorrect downstream metrics and partnering with data owners to develop tools to proactively surface and resolve these issues.
