Who you are
You are an experienced offensive cybersecurity professional with a strong background in security engineering. With at least 5 years of experience, you have a proven track record of analyzing codebases and identifying vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy problem-solving with a team that values innovation and creativity. Your technical expertise includes tools such as Burp Suite and Metasploit, and you are familiar with OWASP principles. You are passionate about building a strong security culture and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others.
Desirable
You have experience leading security initiatives and mentoring junior team members. Familiarity with various programming languages and frameworks is a plus, as is experience in public speaking or writing about security topics. You are comfortable engaging with cross-functional teams and can communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll do
In this role, you will build and lead Chime's Offensive Security program, focusing on identifying and mitigating security risks across the company's services and infrastructure. You will conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, working closely with internal technology teams to report findings and recommend improvements. Your role will involve designing and implementing security tools and methodologies to enhance the security posture of Chime. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle.
