Who you are

You have solid experience in defining and executing testing strategies, with a deep understanding of the testing pyramid — your expertise ensures that software quality is maintained throughout the development lifecycle. You are skilled in test automation for backend systems, including APIs and Kafka, and you are familiar with BDD methodologies, utilizing Gherkin syntax to write clear and understandable test cases.

Your proficiency in tools such as Robot Framework and Playwright allows you to create robust automated tests that enhance the efficiency of the testing process. You are comfortable programming in at least one language, enabling you to develop scripts for test automation effectively. You also have experience with version control systems like Git, task management tools like Jira, and documentation platforms such as Confluence, which are essential for maintaining organized workflows.

You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to read logs and troubleshoot issues effectively — your problem-solving abilities are crucial in identifying and resolving software defects. You thrive in both independent and collaborative environments, demonstrating excellent communication skills that facilitate interaction with multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable

Experience in CI/CD environments and familiarity with tools like Jenkins or similar platforms would be a significant advantage. Previous experience with Appium for mobile testing is also a plus, as it complements your automation skill set.

What you'll do

In this role, you will collaborate with your team to define and execute testing strategies that ensure continuous delivery of high-quality software. You will establish quality processes within the team, focusing on tools, workflows, and fostering a quality-centric mindset. Your responsibilities will include evaluating the quality of delivered software and proposing continuous improvements to both the product and the code developed by the team.

You will work closely with developers to integrate testing into the development process, ensuring that quality is built into the product from the ground up. Your role will involve creating and maintaining automated test scripts, analyzing test results, and providing feedback to the development team to enhance product quality.
