Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, particularly in test automation and developing test strategies. Your expertise includes building and executing various types of tests such as unit, integration, and load tests, ensuring that applications meet high-quality standards. You are familiar with CI-CD pipelines and have experience working with cross-functional teams to manage software releases effectively.
You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to identify the root causes of test failures and communicate these findings clearly to development teams. Your attention to detail ensures that all aspects of the application are thoroughly tested, and you are comfortable conducting code reviews to maintain the quality of test automation artifacts. Experience with payment gateways and high-traffic eCommerce applications is a plus, as is familiarity with Kubernetes for deploying container-based applications.
What you'll do
In this role, you will participate in developing and documenting user stories by providing test strategies and automation estimates. You will be responsible for building and managing automated test suites, ensuring their execution across various environments. Regularly executing, maintaining, and updating these test suites will be part of your routine, as will analyzing results to identify and resolve issues.
You will collaborate closely with developers to ensure comprehensive testing of all application areas and to find technical solutions for test automation challenges. Your role will also involve presenting test results to stakeholders to sign off on software functionality for new production releases. Additionally, you will perform exploratory testing to uncover unexpected behaviors and refine features based on your findings.
