Who you are

You are a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with expertise in Java for developing distributed systems. You have solid knowledge of AWS services, including ECS (Fargate), Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and IAM, which you leverage to create scalable cloud solutions. Your familiarity with Apigee and practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker make you a valuable asset in any cloud environment.

You understand the importance of CI/CD tools and have hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or Argo CD, which you use to optimize build and deployment workflows. Your proficiency in using Datadog for monitoring and observability ensures that you can enhance platform visibility and reliability. You are well-versed in RESTful and event-driven architecture principles, allowing you to design robust and efficient systems.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and build scalable cloud services for APIs, data pipelines, and developer integrations. You will develop internal tools and SDKs to optimize build, deployment, and observability workflows, ensuring that your team can deliver high-quality software efficiently. You will modernize CI/CD pipelines and improve local development tooling while automating environment provisioning to streamline processes.

Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with service owners, DevOps, and reliability engineers to create a unified developer platform that fosters innovation and operational excellence. You will enhance monitoring, logging, and telemetry systems to provide better platform visibility and ensure service reliability. Additionally, you will implement security and compliance best practices across services and infrastructure, ensuring that all solutions meet industry standards.

As a mentor, you will guide your peers on software craftsmanship, design patterns, and cloud-native development, helping to elevate the team's overall skill set. Your contributions will play a crucial role in driving the success of innovative projects within a collaborative and multicultural environment at CI&T.
