Who you are

You have solid experience in DevOps/SRE roles with a strong focus on managing and maintaining cloud infrastructures. Your expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools allows you to optimize and ensure high availability of systems. You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. You are a team player who can manage multiple priorities and collaborate with various teams to achieve common goals.

You have experience in cluster management, particularly with AWS EC2 and EKS, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Your background includes leading incident response efforts, troubleshooting production outages, and providing timely resolutions and root cause analyses. You thrive in environments where you can engage with development teams, addressing their questions and sharing best practices for deployment and operations.

Desirable

You have a good understanding of GitOps tools like Flux or ArgoCD, which enhances your ability to streamline deployment processes. Familiarity with AWS CDK for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus, as is knowledge of Java applications, which can further support your role in managing diverse tech stacks.

What you'll do

In this role, you will maintain and optimize AWS EC2 and EKS clusters, ensuring they operate at peak performance. You will lead the troubleshooting of production outages, providing timely resolutions and conducting thorough root cause analyses. Your collaboration with development teams will be crucial as you address their inquiries and share best practices for deployment and operations. You will also implement and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, streamlining deployment processes and enhancing overall efficiency.

Documentation will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will create and maintain comprehensive guides for systems, processes, and troubleshooting. Your ability to communicate effectively with Directors and other stakeholders will ensure that updates on cluster status, incidents, and ongoing improvements are clearly articulated. You will play a vital role in improving client infrastructure and platforms, contributing to the overall success of CI&T's tech transformation initiatives.
