You possess a deep understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, Route Tables, Security Groups, and load balancing techniques such as ALBs and ELBs. Your experience with service mesh technologies like Istio enables you to optimize service communication and management effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, advocating for best practices across engineering teams to foster a culture of excellence.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at CLEAR, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining streamlined processes that allow engineers to build and deploy software-defined networking solutions effortlessly. You will enhance our compute platform by integrating new functionalities and features, focusing on AWS networking services and Kubernetes networking solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with various engineering teams to implement best practices and ensure that our infrastructure supports the growing identity platform effectively.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in our networking solutions, advocating for innovative approaches that enhance system performance and reliability. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience, making everyday interactions with CLEAR feel seamless and secure. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.
