Who you are
You are currently enrolled in a 4-year engineering program studying Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. You possess a basic familiarity with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, NX, Creo, or Onshape, and have hands-on experience using tools in real-world applications. Your eagerness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate with others makes you a highly motivated teammate. You thrive in environments where you can tinker and solve problems, and you are excited about the opportunity to contribute to innovative robotics projects.
What you'll do
As a Robotics Intern at Cobot, you will spend the summer designing and building complex electromechanical systems under the guidance of a full-time engineer. This could involve creating a mechanical test setup, a robot arm, or an end effector. You will troubleshoot and debug electromechanical systems and assemblies, gaining valuable insights from engineers across various disciplines including test, mechanical, electrical, and software. You will participate in team standups, demos, and engineering walkthroughs, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of how real products come together in a fast-paced startup environment.
