Desirable

Ideally, you have 1+ years of mechanical engineering industry experience, where you have owned projects from concept to production. Your background includes experience with surgical robotics, automation, or microfabrication, which will be beneficial in this role. What you'll do

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Neuralink, you will be responsible for designing and producing hardware solutions for our brain-machine interface devices. This includes working on surgical robotics and automation systems that are crucial for our next-generation surgical platform. You will own projects from concept to production, ensuring that your designs meet the necessary safety and accuracy standards. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of experts to determine design criteria and build systems that push the boundaries of current technology.

You will engage in hands-on work, utilizing tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create detailed designs and prototypes. Your role will involve testing and iterating on your designs based on feedback from team members and real-world applications. You will also participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and share insights, contributing to a culture of innovation and excellence.
