You have a strong background in site reliability engineering, with experience in building and maintaining scalable systems. You thrive in high-pressure environments and are eager to tackle complex challenges, ensuring the reliability and performance of critical infrastructure. You possess a deep understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS, and have hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Your expertise in Linux systems allows you to effectively manage and optimize server performance, ensuring seamless operations.
You are familiar with CI/CD practices and tools, enabling you to support and extend existing frameworks for IT services. Your collaborative nature allows you to work closely with cross-functional teams, including security and compliance, to integrate best practices into deployment pipelines.
You are proactive in seeking feedback and continuously improving your skills, demonstrating a commitment to personal and professional growth. Desirable

What you'll do
In this role, you will partner with the Coinbase Infrastructure team to support and extend existing CI/CD frameworks, ensuring that IT services are robust and efficient. You will collaborate with security and compliance teams to build surveillance tooling into deployment pipelines, enhancing the overall security posture of the organization.
You will design and implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact users. Your work will involve capacity planning and performance tuning, ensuring that systems can handle increasing loads as Coinbase continues to grow.
You will participate in incident response activities, helping to troubleshoot and resolve outages while conducting post-mortem analyses to prevent future occurrences. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and performance of Coinbase's infrastructure, enabling the company to deliver exceptional service to its users.
