You have a strong background in systems engineering and cloud infrastructure, with experience managing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring system reliability. You understand the importance of security in infrastructure and have experience with certificate management and other security practices. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with backend, AI, and product engineers to create systems that are both efficient and secure. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.

You possess a solid understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS, and have hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker. Your familiarity with Linux systems allows you to navigate and manage server environments effectively. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for optimizing processes to improve deployment speed and system uptime. You are also comfortable with scripting and automation, which helps streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the infrastructure that powers Collate’s products, ensuring that our platform remains reliable, secure, and fast as we scale. You will build and manage CI/CD pipelines, enabling seamless integration and deployment of new features. Your responsibilities will include managing cloud infrastructure, implementing best practices for security, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure that our systems are easy to develop on and safe to deploy.

You will work closely with backend and AI engineers to understand their needs and provide the necessary tools and infrastructure to support their development efforts. You will also monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and security. As part of a small, elite team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall strategy and direction of our infrastructure, helping to shape the future of our AI document generation platform.
