You have a strong background in legal counsel, particularly within the fintech or banking sectors — your experience equips you to navigate complex regulatory environments and provide strategic guidance on product offerings. What you'll do
As a Senior Product Counsel at Column, you will be a key strategic partner, working closely with the Go-to-Market, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, and Finance teams. Your role will involve providing legal guidance on product development, ensuring that all offerings comply with applicable regulations while also supporting innovation. You will help shape the legal framework that underpins Column's product strategy, advising on risk management and compliance issues that arise during the product lifecycle.
You will also be responsible for conducting legal research and analysis to inform product decisions, drafting and reviewing contracts, and ensuring that all legal documentation is in place for new product launches. Your insights will be crucial in identifying potential legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, allowing the company to navigate the complexities of the financial services industry effectively.
