You have 5–10 years of experience in fintech, financial services, or technology, with a proven track record of navigating complex regulatory environments. You possess strong analytical skills and can effectively communicate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders. Your background includes advising on product development, compliance, and data security issues, making you a trusted advisor to product and engineering teams.
You are detail-oriented and proactive, able to identify potential legal risks before they become issues. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that legal considerations are integrated into product strategies. Your ability to balance legal requirements with business objectives is a key strength.
What you'll do
As the Associate General Counsel - Product, you will play a crucial role in shaping the legal framework that supports Imprint's innovative financial products. You will advise on regulatory compliance, privacy, and data security matters, ensuring that our offerings meet legal standards while driving business growth. You will collaborate with product, compliance, and engineering teams to provide legal guidance throughout the product lifecycle, from conception to launch.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing legal policies and procedures that align with industry best practices. Your expertise will help navigate the complexities of the sponsor bank model and consumer credit products, ensuring that Imprint remains at the forefront of the fintech industry.
