CoMind is hiring a Financial Controller to oversee financial operations and reporting as they develop innovative neuromonitoring technology. You'll work closely with the CFO and help shape the Finance function. This role requires a strong finance background and offers a hybrid work environment.

Who you are
You are an ambitious finance professional with a strong background in financial operations and reporting. You have experience in managing financial systems and processes, and you are eager to take ownership of these functions as CoMind prepares for product launch. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are ready to be the 'face of finance' for the organization, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
You possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to turn numbers into insightful commentary and analysis for management and board presentations. Your attention to detail ensures a fast and accurate month-end close, and you are comfortable working with both UK and US financial operations. You are proactive in streamlining expenses, purchasing, and invoicing processes, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance function.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of financial operations at CoMind, ensuring smooth and confident management of UK and US financial activities. You will drive the month-end close process, delivering high-quality reporting and analysis that informs key business decisions. As the first point of contact for finance-related inquiries, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
You will also play a crucial role in bringing external accounting and tax activities in-house, helping to design and implement new financial systems and processes. Your insights and operational excellence will be vital as CoMind navigates its next phase of growth and prepares for product launch. You will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact in a rapidly changing organization, shaping the future of the Finance function.
