You'll work closely with financial advisors and operations teams to translate user needs into product improvements. This role requires a high-energy, execution-first mindset.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a high-energy, execution-first Senior Product Manager with a strong background in product management. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a proven track record of turning real-world feedback into actionable product decisions. You understand the importance of collaboration and are comfortable working directly with financial advisors and operations teams to identify workflows, pain points, and opportunities for improvement. You are adept at writing clear specifications that engineers can easily understand and execute, ensuring that product improvements are shipped confidently and efficiently.
You possess a data-driven mindset, capable of defining success metrics and using data to iterate on product features. You are not afraid to make pragmatic decisions with imperfect information, and you value rapid iteration and feedback loops. Your experience allows you to navigate complex product lifecycles, ensuring that you can own execution from start to finish. You are passionate about building tools that genuinely help operators and are excited about the opportunity to shape how product gets done at Compound.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own execution across the product lifecycle, partnering directly with financial advisors and operations staff to deeply understand their workflows and pain points. You will rapidly translate user needs into product improvements and new features, ensuring that the tools you build are effective and user-friendly. You will write clear specifications that engineers can run with, avoiding lengthy documentation while providing enough detail to ship confidently. Your ability to make pragmatic, high-quality decisions with imperfect information will be crucial as you measure what matters and define success metrics for your products.
You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to scope, prioritize, and ship product features. Your involvement will extend to code reviews, ensuring that the final product aligns with user needs and expectations. You will have direct access to real customers, allowing for fast feedback loops and minimal layers between you and the impact of your work. As part of a small team, you will enjoy high ownership of your projects and the opportunity to steer direction as you ramp up your efforts. You will also have the chance to build and deploy AI tooling, leveraging rapid feedback loops to enhance the product further.
What we offer
At Compound, you will be part of a dynamic team that is building the financial institution of the future. We offer a collaborative environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our products. You will work alongside a cross-functional team of advisors, tax experts, product designers, engineers, and operators, all dedicated to creating innovative solutions for our clients. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds. Join us in shaping the future of financial advisory services.
