Site Reliability Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or production engineer — you've designed and operated reliable systems that scale and recover seamlessly. Your strong background in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure means you understand how to leverage these technologies to enhance system performance and reliability.

You possess hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, particularly with Terraform — this skill allows you to automate deployments and manage infrastructure efficiently. Your familiarity with observability systems, including metrics, logs, and tracing, ensures that you can provide insights before issues impact customers.

You are adept at incident response and postmortems — you turn lessons learned into stronger systems, ensuring continuous improvement in reliability practices. Your collaborative nature allows you to partner effectively with engineering teams to define and meet service level indicators (SLIs) and service level objectives (SLOs).

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and operate highly reliable infrastructure across our cloud environments — your work will ensure that our customers never have to worry about system downtime. You will build automation and tooling to eliminate toil, reduce manual operations, and speed up recovery processes, enhancing overall operational efficiency.

You will partner with engineering teams to define and achieve SLIs and SLOs, integrating reliability into the development process from the ground up. Developing observability systems will be a key part of your responsibilities, providing insights that help preemptively address potential issues before they affect users.

You will own incident response and conduct thorough postmortems, using these experiences to strengthen our systems and processes. Continuously scaling our infrastructure to meet customer demand will be a critical aspect of your role, ensuring that we can support growth without compromising reliability.
