What you'll do

As an AI Architect at Confluent, you will be responsible for delivering technical designs and implementations of internal AI tools. You will work closely with the Business Systems team to oversee the core platforms that drive the company's operations. Your role will involve designing systems that securely read from and write to various data sources, ensuring that AI integrations go beyond simple text summarization to provide actionable insights. You will lead the architectural design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and develop solutions that meet business objectives.

You will also be instrumental in modernizing the technology stack by integrating practical AI solutions that automate manual workflows. This includes defining the architecture for new systems, writing production-ready code, and ensuring that all solutions are secure and scalable. You will mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure that best practices are followed throughout the development process.
