Who you are
You are pursuing a Bachelorβs or Masterβs in Computer Science, Math, or a related technical field, with a graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027. You are self-motivated and able to drive projects with innovative ideas, demonstrating a strong ability to collaborate with others. You thrive in environments that encourage asking hard questions and providing honest feedback, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
You have a foundational understanding of software development principles and are eager to learn about real-time infrastructure and distributed systems. Your curiosity drives you to explore how data moves and how to optimize its flow, making you a perfect fit for a team that values diverse perspectives and collaborative problem-solving.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software that will touch production and have a customer-facing impact. You will follow best practices for software development and participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to project standards. You will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, gaining valuable experience in project management and agile methodologies.
You will help build the next generation of Kafka, pushing the boundaries of distributed system design.
