Security Engineer • Senior

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, particularly in threat detection and response — you've built and maintained security systems that protect infrastructure from malicious actors. Your expertise in AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes allows you to implement effective security measures in cloud environments.

You possess strong programming skills in Python and have a solid understanding of Linux systems — your ability to automate security processes and develop tooling is key to your success. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of development.

You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities — you understand the importance of maintaining visibility into environments and developing effective security programs. Your communication skills enable you to partner effectively with IT administrators and compliance analysts.

Desirable

Experience with incident response and security monitoring tools is a plus — you are familiar with frameworks and best practices for securing cloud-native applications. A background in compliance and regulatory requirements will help you navigate the complexities of security in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do
