Job Description
Who you are
You are a seasoned JavaScript programmer with strong experience in building large enterprise web applications using the latest technology. You have a solid understanding of web application development and can analyze requirements, perform detailed design, and engage in hands-on development for scalable applications using Python Flask, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, able to complete projects with minimal supervision and direction. You have strong interpersonal communication skills and can work well in a diverse, team-focused environment with other engineers, product managers, and designers. Your experience includes developing secure web applications and understanding application vulnerabilities such as Cross Site Scripting (XSS).
Desirable
Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, Angular, or React is preferred. Familiarity with unit testing frameworks in Python and JavaScript domains is a plus. You have a deep understanding of HTTP and REST architecture, and extensive use of APIs.
What you'll do
As a Frontend Engineer at Confluera, you will develop new code and lead existing code changes as part of a group effort. You will build libraries, reusable components, and frameworks that support complex web applications. Your role will involve rapid development with automation in mind, ensuring that you deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
You will review work for accuracy, quality, performance, and completeness, including other developers' code. Your responsibilities will also include REST API development to support UI applications and performance tuning of application code. You will work closely with your team to integrate new technologies into existing codebases in a logical and deliberate manner.
