Who you are

You have a solid background in frontend development, particularly with JavaScript and React, and you're passionate about creating user-friendly applications that enhance client experiences. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Your experience includes leveraging design systems to build scalable and maintainable features, and you understand the importance of developer productivity in a fast-paced setting. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement within the infrastructure and are eager to contribute to the overall success of the team.

Desirable

Experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies. You appreciate the nuances of user experience design and are keen to implement best practices in your work. A background in financial technology or a related field would be beneficial, but not essential.

What you'll do

As a Frontend Engineer at Wealthfront, you will be responsible for designing and developing new client-facing features that align with our mission to help clients grow their wealth. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers in a scrum team to ensure that the products we build are not only functional but also delightful to use. Your role will involve working with our in-house Design System components to create a cohesive user experience across our platform. You will also focus on improving our infrastructure and developer productivity, ensuring that our engineering practices are efficient and effective.

You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes. Your insights will help shape the direction of our frontend architecture and tooling, allowing you to have a significant impact on the team's output. You will be encouraged to share your ideas and collaborate with your peers to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
