Confluera is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer (Windows) to develop and maintain a software platform that exposes Windows security instrumentation information. You'll work with C, C++, and Windows OS internals. This position requires proficiency in writing high-quality test code.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in systems engineering, particularly with Windows, and are proficient in C and C++. Your understanding of Windows OS internals allows you to develop and maintain software platforms effectively. You take pride in writing high-quality, testable code and have experience in performance analysis and ensuring high unit test coverage.
Your experience may include a background in security, particularly in areas like malware detection, which adds depth to your technical skill set. Familiarity with Golang is a bonus, showcasing your versatility in programming languages and your willingness to learn new technologies.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop and maintain a software platform that exposes Windows security instrumentation information, ensuring that it is reliable and efficient for consumption by distributed systems. You will be responsible for performance analysis, ensuring that the software runs optimally and meets the necessary performance benchmarks.
