You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in developing and maintaining high-performance applications. You possess excellent programming and troubleshooting skills, and you have a solid understanding of distributed systems. You thrive in collaborative environments and can work independently when needed. While experience in the storage domain is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. You are a self-starter who is driven and capable of managing your own responsibilities. You believe in taking ownership of your work and are motivated by the opportunity to make impactful decisions.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Rubrik, you will play a pivotal role in leading teams towards owning the product roadmap and ensuring long-term stability for our enterprise customers. You will work closely with leadership and various stakeholders from other engineering teams, as well as the Product and Support organizations. Your responsibilities will include developing a deep understanding of our product and engineering architecture, which encompasses our distributed job framework, data lifecycle management, filesystem, and metadata store. You will be tasked with designing and implementing high-performance software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems to enhance performance and reliability. Your role will require you to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our software solutions align with customer needs and business objectives.
