Who you are
You are an experienced attorney with a strong background in privacy law and compliance, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. You possess a deep understanding of privacy regulations and have a proven track record of advising cross-functional teams on legal risks and compliance strategies. Your ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner makes you an effective collaborator with Product, R&D, Marketing, Sales, and HR teams. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoy working as part of a team to drive impactful results. Your passion for technology and privacy law fuels your commitment to creating a compliant and secure digital experience for customers.
Desirable
A CIPP certification is a strong plus, showcasing your dedication to privacy and data protection. Experience in a tech-focused company or startup environment will give you an edge in understanding the unique challenges faced in this space. You are proactive in identifying potential legal risks and are skilled at developing practical solutions that align with business objectives.
What you'll do
As the Director of Privacy at Contentsquare, you will be the go-to expert for all privacy-related matters within the organization. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that privacy considerations are integrated into product development, marketing strategies, and customer interactions. Your role will involve assessing and mitigating legal risks associated with data collection, processing, and storage practices. You will develop and implement privacy policies and procedures that comply with applicable laws and regulations, ensuring that the company maintains a strong reputation for data protection.
