Overview
Copilot Money is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to develop their personal finance management app for iOS and Mac. You'll collaborate with product and design teams to implement new features and optimize existing ones. This position requires 5+ years of experience in iOS development.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience developing natively for iOS and Apple platforms, demonstrating a solid understanding of app and view lifecycles. Your expertise in Swift and familiarity with macOS development make you a strong candidate for this role. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product and design teams to create user-friendly applications. Your commitment to quality is evident in your implementation of unit and UI tests to ensure reliability and performance.
You are passionate about personal finance and understand the importance of delivering powerful, hyper-personalized insights to users. Your experience with machine learning concepts will be beneficial as you contribute to enhancing the app's capabilities. You are open to feedback and continuously seek ways to improve the user experience based on crowdsourced input.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of the Apple Platforms team, focusing on developing and maintaining the iOS and macOS applications. You will collaborate closely with the Product and Design teams to define and implement new features that enhance user engagement. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and optimizing existing features to ensure they meet high-quality standards. You will also implement unit and UI tests for new features, contributing to the overall reliability of the applications.
You will participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress and share insights on user feedback. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest iOS development trends and best practices, ensuring that the app remains competitive in the market. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior developers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their careers.
