You have 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on building user-friendly web applications. Your expertise in JavaScript and frameworks like React allows you to create seamless user experiences that engage and retain users. You understand the importance of collaboration and enjoy working closely with design teams to bring concepts to life. You are passionate about making fitness more accessible and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven startup. Your experience in agile development environments has equipped you with the skills to iterate quickly and effectively. You thrive in early-stage companies and are eager to help shape the culture of a growing engineering team.
Desirable
Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter would be a plus, as would familiarity with two-sided marketplaces or ecommerce platforms. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies as the project evolves.
What you'll do
As a Senior / Tech Lead Software Engineer at CORE, you will play a pivotal role in developing our MVP and shaping the future of our platform. You will collaborate with product managers and designers to define features and ensure they align with user needs. Your responsibilities will include writing high-quality, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers. You will also be involved in prototyping and iterating on new features based on user feedback. Your contributions will directly impact how instructors connect with their students online, making fitness more accessible to diverse audiences. You will help establish best practices for frontend development and contribute to the overall engineering culture at CORE.
What we offer
We provide a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $180,000 per year, along with significant equity for early engineers. Our benefits include a 100% contribution to healthcare, dental, and vision coverage for employees, and 90% for dependents. We also offer a 401k plan to help you save for the future.
