Who you are
You are a detail-oriented finance professional with 5 to 10 years of experience in audit and tax compliance. Your background ideally includes time spent at a Big 4 Accounting firm, where you honed your skills in financial reporting and compliance. You are comfortable working cross-functionally and have experience collaborating with external auditors and internal stakeholders. Your attention to detail ensures that all financial statements are accurate and compliant with applicable accounting standards.
You possess strong analytical skills and are adept at reviewing financial statement packages and accompanying notes. You understand the importance of regulatory alignment and are committed to ensuring that all processes meet the necessary standards. Your ability to communicate effectively with various teams makes you a valuable asset in any financial environment.
What you'll do
In this role, you will coordinate annual financial statement audits with external auditors, ensuring that all documentation is prepared and submitted in a timely manner. You will review financial statement packages to confirm compliance with IFRS or local GAAP, working closely with internal teams to gather necessary information. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the company's tax compliance processes across multiple entities, ensuring that all filings are accurate and submitted on time.
You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting within the organization. This includes identifying areas for improvement in existing processes and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency. You will also be involved in training and mentoring junior staff, sharing your expertise to help them grow in their roles.
