Appier is seeking a Senior Finance Specialist to manage overseas subsidiary accounting and ensure compliance with IFRS. You'll work with financial reporting and budget management in Taipei.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in public accounting, ideally with exposure to multinational clients. Your solid working knowledge of IFRS and hands-on experience in financial reporting make you a strong candidate for this role. You have experience managing or reviewing overseas subsidiary accounting and cross-border financial matters, showcasing your analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
You are self-motivated and possess strong communication skills, allowing you to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders. Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese is essential for this position, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle, and a CPA certification are considered advantageous.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own financial reporting and month-end closing for overseas subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS. You will manage cost closing and allocation processes, including accruals and intercompany charges, while supporting budget planning, forecasting, and budget vs. actual analysis for overseas entities. Coordinating statutory audits and preparing audit-ready supporting documentation will be part of your responsibilities, as well as driving continuous improvement in accounting and reporting processes. You will also lead or support ad hoc finance projects as assigned by your manager, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance team.
