Who you are
You hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field, and you bring over 10 years of experience in backend engineering. You have a proven track record of leading the development of robotics and automation solutions, having successfully launched multiple products and platforms. Your expertise includes AI, deep learning, machine learning, perception, computer vision, planning, control, hardware design, simulation, and end-to-end robotics systems. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex logistics challenges.
Desirable
Experience with high-availability systems and a strong understanding of CI/CD principles in software engineering will set you apart. You are familiar with the latest advancements in automation and robotics technologies, and you have a knack for innovative problem-solving that drives efficiency and cost reduction.
What you'll do
As a Staff Backend Engineer at Coupang, you will lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of integrated automation and robotics systems for our logistics centers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to plan projects and execute delivery effectively. Your role will involve ensuring that our FC systems meet scalability, reliability, availability, and performance goals through end-to-end system and subsystem delivery.
