Who you are

You are a qualified attorney with a minimum of 6 years of experience in providing business-oriented legal solutions in a fast-paced environment. You possess strong communication skills and sound judgment, enabling you to negotiate and coordinate effectively. Your proactive attitude and determination allow you to tackle challenging tasks and resolve complex issues thoroughly. You have a background in both law firm and in-house legal teams, with experience in responding to government and regulatory agencies, as well as managing disputes. Proficiency in English communication is a plus.

What you'll do

As a Senior Legal Counsel at Coupang, you will provide legal advice across all aspects of CPLB products and services, ensuring risk management and compliance with regulations. You will participate in key business decisions, including contract structuring and regulatory compliance, playing a vital role in launching new products and entering new markets. Your expertise will help design and operate compliance programs while conducting training sessions. You will collaborate with various departments, including business, finance, compliance, privacy, security, engineering, and data analysis, to align brand strategies with legal perspectives and facilitate complex decision-making processes. Additionally, you will support projects that involve communication with external stakeholders, enhancing your leadership skills and broadening your understanding of the business.
