Security Engineer • Staff

Who you are

You have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in information security roles. Your background includes planning, building, operating, and monitoring information security systems, and you possess a deep understanding of security, IT, infrastructure, and network-based technologies. You are well-versed in cloud security technologies and services, particularly with AWS, and you have experience collaborating with various departments while demonstrating flexible communication skills.

Desirable

You have a solid understanding of Cloud Computing models such as SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, and you have experience conducting security reviews. Your expertise includes designing security architecture and implementing it hands-on, along with familiarity with relevant laws such as the Information and Communications Network Act, Electronic Financial Transactions Act, and Personal Information Protection Act.

What you'll do

In this role, you will conduct security reviews for new services or changes to existing services, collaborating closely with development and infrastructure teams to establish and document enterprise security requirements and guidelines. You will ensure compliance with security requirements in IT and infrastructure operations, analyze security risks in IT and infrastructure environments, and propose improvements to mitigate these risks. Your responsibilities will also include designing and validating infrastructure security architecture that provides minimal security risks and appropriate security controls. You will research security standards and technologies related to new technology trends and work on improving the security review process.
