Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in enterprise security, with experience in developing and operating security capabilities across various platforms. Your expertise includes endpoint protection, email security, and secure remote access, ensuring that security measures are both effective and user-friendly. You understand the importance of compliance and risk reduction, and you are skilled in hardening employee endpoints, particularly on MacOS, using advanced security tools.
You are familiar with identity and access management principles, leveraging technologies such as SSO and MFA to enforce security policies. Your approach is pragmatic, focusing on implementing least-privilege principles to minimize risks while enabling productivity. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with IT and Engineering teams to foster a culture of security awareness and best practices.
Desirable
Experience with cloud services and their security implications is a plus, as is familiarity with various security frameworks and compliance standards. You are proactive in identifying potential security threats and are adept at implementing solutions that protect sensitive information without hindering operational efficiency.
What you'll do
As an Enterprise Security Engineer at Sendbird, you will be responsible for securing our internal information systems and SaaS applications. You will design, implement, and operate security controls across endpoints, identity systems, and cloud services. Your role will involve developing enterprise security capabilities that enhance our overall security posture while enabling our teams to work productively in a secure environment.
You will partner with IT to harden employee endpoints using EDR, NGAV, and MDM platforms, ensuring timely patching and compliance with security baselines. Your work will include designing and enforcing security policies for identity and access management, leveraging technologies such as SSO and MFA to ensure secure access to resources.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with various teams to drive a βsecure by defaultβ culture across our workforce technologies. You will be involved in continuous improvement efforts, administering and enhancing security measures to adapt to evolving threats and business needs.
