Desirable

Experience with ad tech or digital advertising platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with supply-side platforms (SSPs) and demand-side platforms (DSPs). You are also encouraged to bring any experience you have with data analytics and user behavior modeling to the table, as these skills will be valuable in refining the ad infrastructure.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the development of Coupang Play's next-generation Ad Infrastructure, focusing on building a robust Supply-Side Platform (SSP). You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to define the technical requirements and architecture of the platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our diverse content offerings.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend services that can handle high volumes of traffic and data. This includes optimizing the performance of ad delivery systems and ensuring seamless integration with existing content delivery networks. You will also work on enhancing the machine learning capabilities of the platform to improve ad targeting and user engagement.

As a senior member of the engineering team, you will mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices in software development. You will participate in code reviews, ensuring that the team adheres to high standards of quality and performance. Your insights will help shape the technical direction of the team and influence key architectural decisions.
