Crusoe is hiring a Press Brake Operator to manufacture tools and components from sheet metal. You'll operate and maintain press brake machinery in Arvada, CO. This position is ideal for candidates looking to start their career in manufacturing.
Job Description
Who you are
You are someone who is eager to learn and grow in the manufacturing field. You may have some experience or a strong willingness to operate machinery safely and effectively. You understand the importance of following instructions and interpreting product plans accurately. You are detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work. You are also capable of performing routine maintenance on machinery and maintaining a clean work area.
What you'll do
As a Press Brake Operator, you will operate a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and components from sheet metal or metal plates. You will prepare, set up, and adjust the press brake according to product plans and production schedules. Ensuring that sufficient raw materials are available will be part of your responsibilities, as well as measuring and aligning materials for use. You will also conduct quality inspections to evaluate finished pieces for compliance with standards and specifications. Routine maintenance of the press brake and keeping your work area clean will be essential duties in this role.
