Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in managing mechanical products, particularly in the context of data centers. Your experience includes developing and executing equipment initiatives that directly impact operational efficiency and scalability. You possess excellent negotiation skills, enabling you to handle complex supplier relationships and contracts effectively.

You understand the intricacies of data center operations and the importance of integrating new technologies and suppliers into existing frameworks. Your analytical skills allow you to assess total cost of ownership and make informed sourcing decisions that align with organizational goals.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing initiatives related to Data Center equipment, focusing on mechanical products such as chillers, CRAH units, and fan walls. You will negotiate and support complex programs, ensuring that all equipment schedules and budgets are managed effectively to support large-scale data center construction activities.

You will lead the onboarding and selection of suppliers based on comprehensive cost analysis and lead time assessments tied to RFPs. Your strategic guidance will be crucial in understanding the total cost of ownership, which will support your sourcing decisions and enhance collaboration with suppliers.

You will develop implementation strategies, assign responsibilities, and create communication plans and timelines to ensure smooth execution of projects. Your role will have a direct and immediate impact on Crusoe's ability to build and scale its data center operations, contributing to the company's mission of accelerating the abundance of energy and intelligence.
