Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline and at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, construction, or project environment. You possess a solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and low-voltage power distribution systems, which allows you to navigate complex electrical design challenges effectively.

Your experience includes creating electrical design deliverables such as one-line diagrams, control schematics, and bills of materials. You are detail-oriented and ensure the accuracy of project materials quoted to customers, reviewing vendor bid packages and submittals for technical accuracy. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.

What you'll do

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Crusoe, you will be responsible for the layout, design, and integration of electrical systems into drawings of custom power and control products for manufacture. You will create electrical design deliverables and confirm the accuracy of project materials, ensuring that all components meet the required specifications. You will perform electrical calculations and component sizing, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the projects you work on.

You will evaluate manufacturing processes for improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Your role will involve collaborating closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that all designs align with project goals and industry standards. You will also stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in electrical engineering to continuously improve your work and the team's output.
